My Skill Set
From instructional design to training facilitation to program management, a well-rounded skill set will set me apart from many others. Take a look at some added skills that will add to any Training, Learning, or Development role.
When you can partner with not only an expert in her field but one that is truly passionate about delivering you the best experience so you can do the same with your customers…it’s lightning in a bottle. And I’ve been so privileged to not only partner with Lauren but to witness her delivering really tough projects and doing so with ambition and even joy. She brings structure and life to ambiguous programs, gets others excited about them, and really pays attention to the small things—the details—that sometimes can make a huge impact in executing. It’s those things that make her an individual you want on your team.
Having the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional coworker, who is passionate about sharing knowledge is truly remarkable. With meticulous attention to detail, Lauren excels at conveying complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. Her motivation and eagerness to design new learning opportunities make her an invaluable asset. She is a lifelong learner, constantly seeking to expand her own knowledge and skill set and happy to share it with others. Her dedication, creativity, and commitment to personal growth make her an outstanding professional, who would be an asset to any company.
I had the privilege of working with Lauren for over four years on a fast-paced, highly agile and forward-thinking global marketing team in the data center/tech space. During that time, I also had the unique opportunity to witness and benefit from Lauren’s talents, skill and experience in not one, but two highly critical and influential roles for the business – the company’s global Training & Development Manager, and then, through a seamless transition that highlights Lauren’s versatility and focus on true business impact, the company’s global Marketing Automation & Email Program Manager. She excelled at both. From a training, development and learning perspective, Lauren’s educational background and experience makes her a natural, motivating fit for any corporate-based learning and development program. She possesses a keen sense for developing creative, productive and results-oriented training materials and presentations, and also has the effortless social skills and comfort to lead, develop and facilitate useful, engaging training, both in-person and virtually in today’s hybrid working world. She’s also an incredibly people-oriented, and experiences-based teacher of highly technical concepts and topics, something I witnessed and benefited from first-hand in the accelerated digital transformation world of the data center and IT infrastructure industry, where it’s imperative to not only enable sales, product and marketing teams to upskill quickly and remain nimble as new technologies come and go, but to motivate all learners to keep growing and stay on the leading edge of new practices, products, services and more. In so many of these ways, Lauren’s transition to the company’s Marketing Automation & Email Program Manager allowed her to apply a collaborative mindset to creating new, improved structures, plans and implementations, many of which she piloted and watched flourish in the training and development role, while also bringing new ways of thinking and making an impact on older, legacy systems and protocols. But above all the discernable job skill platitudes and honest-to-goodness excellent performance day-in day-out, the Lauren I know is simply and surely a true colleague, one who’s honest, hard-working, smart and motivated. She’s an asset to any team and I’d happily work with her again on any project.
